Circle Hill Baptist Church, located at Old
Parramore a few miles northeast of the main
Two Egg crossroads, hosted its annual
Homecoming on May 2, 2010.
This year's event drew the largest crowd in
recent memory to the historic church, which
was founded in a brush arbor at the adjacent
Pine Level Cemetery back in 1913 when the
community of Parramore was at its height as
a trading center and riverboat port.
A crowd of more than 200 gather outside
the historic church before morning services.
Services were followed by dinner in the
church's Fellowship Hall.
The historic "old country church" has now
been active for 97 years.
Special music for the 2010 Homecoming
was provided by the Parish Family.
The old cemetery adjacent to the church
dates back to the 1870s.
Despite clouds that threatened rain, cars
jammed the church grounds.
